NEW YORK, N.Y. (22DECEMBER2009) - Whitney Engen, a senior at the University of North Carolina, has won the 2009 Honda Sports Award in soccer, designating her as the nation's top collegiate female athlete in the sport. NEWPORT BEACH, CALIFORNIA (11NOV2009) - In each one of our athletes is a Champion waiting to be found. Our coaching staff and organization works with our athletes to help them find the best they can become. Years of personal dedication at the youth level clearly is paying dividends to many of our athletes at the collegiate level. We are proud to acknowledge so many former Slammers being recognized by the NCAA and their conferences as being leaders both on and off the field. Congratulations to all of you. We are proud.
